How we run MAFIA
We work to keep MAFIA a place where everyone — first-timers and veterans alike — can safely enjoy fair matches and the mind games at their heart, and to publish clear guides to the rules and roles.
Good to know
If someone makes you uncomfortable, report them
Abusive language, harassment, and inappropriate display names are handled by the operators. If something happens during a game, open the player's avatar menu and use Report — it goes straight to us, and the reported player is never told who reported them. (Details: Troll Defense — Abuse and Smurf Detection.)
Cameras
Your camera never switches itself on: it shows you only after you press the button yourself — while you hold it, or until you press again once it locks on. You can play to the very end without showing your face. How you use it is up to you.
New to werewolf?
If this is your first werewolf game, the Roles and Strategy & Tips sections explain the rules and how to play each role. Table presets — player counts with role lineups — are provided for 6 to 13 players. If in doubt, start with a smaller room and work your way up.
If you have trouble getting started, see Troubleshooting. If the table talk loses you, try the Glossary. For anything else, there's the FAQ and the contact form(ja).
